Tourism, accommodation and hotels in Las Cañas

Las Canas is named in reference to Mount Tacuara rods originating in that area and is now preserved as a nature reserve.

It is recognized as the quintessential tourist spot in the area called Uruguayan-Argentine Coast.

Located on the shores of the Uruguay River which acts as a natural boundary between Rep. Oriental del Uruguay and the Rep. Argentina.
