Termas del Dayman are located 10 km from the city of Salto, Montevideo 487 and 440 of Buenos Aires. They are the busiest in the region thermal resort, and were born in 1957 after a failed attempt to find oil off the coast of the eponymous river.
Water in some cases reaches 45 ° C, the highest temperature in thermal waters of Uruguay. The thermal water comes from the Guarani Aquifer. Daymán waters contain iodine, iron, magnesium, calcium and fluoride, are negative in content of arsenic and sulfate poor although tool serve crenotherapy.
